Overview

This tool is used to created a compound collider around an object


Where to find

The Edged Compound Solver can be found under Mechanics > Create Collider > Edged Compound Solver

Edged Compound Solver

Boxes Per Edge

This determines the amount of boxes used per edge along its bounding box

The higher the number the more precise the compound collider is.

Should Merge

Determines if the found boxes which make up the Edged Compound Solver should be merged together when possible


How to use

  1. Select the GameObject(s) you want to create a Edged Compound Solver for.

Only works for objects with a mesh filter

2. Indicate the amount of boxes per edge and if you want to merge.

3. Click the Make to created compound collider. The box colliders it is made from are place below the object in the hierarchy.

Creating a Collider with a large amount of boxes per edge might take a long time to calculate
