The MiniShuttle transfers single products from one connected module to another.
The feature can be found in the Assets Library (Prespective > Menu > Industrial Assets > Assets Library) under Categories > Shuttles > MiniShuttle.
This will look similar to the following image.
The image below shows the complete feature layout of the MiniShuttle inspector.
Fields | ||
Specifications | ||
Participant ID | Unique identification number for this simulation participant, can be used in code to find this participant.
Active in Simulation | Whether this participant is considered active in the simulation, and will thus be updated every frame.
Mini Shuttle Module Settings
Connection Spline Manager | This holds settings for snapping Conveyors to the MiniShuttle. If the length and/or width of the Trolley change, update these values so snapping occurs in the right positions.
Update Snappable Lines | Update the snappable line of the MiniShuttle to match their (new) settings.
Order Filter | You can set the order in which products need to be transferred by inputting the Connection Type name, defined in the Mini Shuttle Conveyor Transfer Points, in the required order.
| |
Percentual Position On Shuttle | The percentual position on the Trolley spline at which product will be held during transfer.
Mini Shuttle Conveyor Transfer Points | The points of transfer for the MiniShuttle at which Conveyors are connected.
Verbose Mode | Whether verbose logging of Minishuttle events is active (for debugging purposes).
Transfer Mode | Whether the connected Conveyor is a “Providing” (input) or “Receiving” (output) Conveyor.
Connection Type | Only Conveyors with a shared Connection Type are able to get products transferred between them. Use these settings to group Conveyors and to define possible “routes” for product.
Target Conveyor | A reference to the connected Conveyor component.
Distance from Connected End | The distance in meters away from the MiniShuttle on the Conveyor at which product are held awaiting the arrival of the Trolley.
Stop Conveyor Assignment Name | The name of the Conveyor Assignment that corresponds with a “stop” assignment.
Start Conveyor Assignment Name | The name of the Conveyor Assignment that corresponds with a “start” assignment.
Update MiniShuttle Conveyor Transfer Points | Update the MiniShuttle transfer points to match their (new) settings.
Clear Transfer Points | Clear all existing transfer points. Any connected Conveyors remain connected. However, they cannot properly function until the transfer points are updated again.
Motion Web Actors | All actors currently within the Motion Web.
Motion Web Splines | All Splines currently within the Motion Web.
Type of Route | The preferred type of route that actors travel over the MiniShuttle.
Re-index Motion Web From Selection | Re-index the Motion Web, only considering objects within the current Selection.
Automatically Fix Duplicate Cues in Web | Detect duplicate Cues within the Motion Web and rename them.
Cues | Not used in this feature
Probability | Not used in this feature
Debugging | ||
Verbose | Whether the MiniShuttle is in Verbose Mode.
Report All Activities In Inspector | Whether all activities in this participant will log all event data they generate in this inspector (for debugging purposes only) |
Open the Industrial Assets Library and drag the Mini Shuttle into the scene.
2. Snap Conveyors onto the the MiniShuttle and set them as Providing and Receiving Conveyors.
