Overview

The Conveyor component transfers a product along a spline where different segments can be set which each have their own behahviour.


Where to find

The feature can be found in the Assets Library (Prespective > Menu > Industrial Assets > Assets Library) under Categories > Modules > Conveyors > Any Conveyor

This will look similar to the following image.


Feature layout

The image below shows the complete feature layout of the Conveyor inspector.

Fields

Conveyor Segment Settings

Owner Spline

Reference to the Spline used as the Conveyor.

Length

The length of the Spline.

Add Conveyor Segment

Add an extra segment to the Conveyor. You can remove these with the delete button.

Segment X

All segments on the conveyors are shown as a list.

Start

The start position on the segment on the conveyor.

End

The end position on the segment on the conveyor.

Current Motion State

The current Motion State of the segment.

Parts on Segment X

The parts current on the segment (Only available during PlayMode)

Motion States

Add Motion State

Add a new Motion State to the Conveyor.

MotionState #0: Running

All segments on the conveyors are shown as a list with their State Name.

State Name

The State Name of the Motion State.

State Target Velocity

The Target Velocity for products on segments that have this Motion State.

Connections

Motion Transition Assignments

Action Sequence Category

Add Motion Transition Assignment

Add a Motion Transition Assignment to the Conveyor.

Start Conveyor

All Motion Transition Assignments on the conveyors are shown as a list with their State Name.

Transition Name

The name of the Motion Transition Assignment.

Affected Segments

All segments on the Conveyor that are affected by this Assignment.

Transition Start State Settings

Transition Type

Transition Type

Start State

The Motion State of the segment(s) required to start the Motion Transition Assignment.

Priority: highest to lowest

Result State

The Motion State set to the segment(s) as a result of the Motion Transition Assignment.

Triggers


How to use

  1. Open the Industrial Assets Library and drag a Conveyor into the scene.

2. Add any required extra Motion States to the Conveyor.

3. Add any required extra Segments to the Conveyor.

4. Add any required extra Motion Transition Assignments to the Conveyor.

5. Connect any other modules to the Conveyor.
