Prespective not working as expected

When Prespective is not working as expected, a common solution is to check your .NET version.

To change this to the correct version, go to Prespective > About.
Press Apply Required Settings.

Otherwise, go to Project Settings > Player > Other Settings and change your .NET version to 4.x.
