Overview
The Asset Library is a way to drag and drop predefined Gameobjects into the the scene. It allows you to download predefined Prespective assets but also gives the user the ability to store their own assets in their local or shared data store.
Where to find
The Library can be found in the Prespective menu under Industrial Assets > Asset Library and will open the library window.

The Library window consist of the Category Pane, the Asset Pane and the Settings.
Category pane
Fields | Description |
---|---|
All | Selecting this category will show all assets that are currently available in the library. This contains all online, local, project and shared assets. |
Favourites | This contains all assets that have been favourited. |
All other categories | The rest of the list contains all categories defined by the assets that are currently available. This contains all online, local, project and shared assets. Selecting a subcategory will only show assets that have the specific subcategory defined in their category. |

Sort By | Select what the search should sort by. |
Search bar | Search assets within the currently selected asset subset. This will only search in the current category or currently selected assets such as |
Imported | The imported toggle is used to filter the assets on whether they have been imported into the project. |
Asset
Number | Fields | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Name | The name of the asset. |
2 | State | The state of the asset. This signifies if the asset is a online asset, available computer wide or imported into the project. See States for more information. |
3 | Version | Version of the asset currently selected. This can be clicked to show a selection of other versions. Clicking a different version will select a different version of the asset. |
States
When downloading a package it has three distinct states.
Icon | State | Description |
---|---|---|
| Online | Online available for download. Nothing yet downloaded on the computer. |
| Local | Asset is downloaded to this computer. Available computer wide but not yet imported into the project. |
| Project | Downloaded into the project and imported into the project. It can now be dragged into the scene. |
Settings
Number | Fields | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Shared settings | Button to open the the shared assets settings. |
2 | Refresh | Update the online assets and re-index the local assets. |
How to use
Open the window by opening the Prespective window by Going to Prespective > Menu.
Open the library by going to Industrial Assets > Asset Library and open the library.
Click any of the default loaded assets to download them into the project.
3. Drag and drop the asset into the scene.

4. Select the Imported
toggle to only show the imported assets.
5. Type anything into the search bar to filter assets.
6. Press the Refresh
button to refresh all assets from the server and re-index the local assets.
7. Press the Shared assets
button to change the location of the shared assets.
This will open the Asset Library Shared Folder Settings
.
8. Click browse and select a location where assets are stored on your computer.
9. Press Ok
and the Library will update and then close the window. The shared assets will now be shown in the library.
